Donald W. Henderson

Donald W. Henderson specializes in the trial of complex negligence and medical malpractice cases, as well as actions stemming from breach of contract and commercial disputes. He is also experienced in the preparation and evaluation of business contracts and agreements with particular emphasis on professional practices. Familiar with the codes espoused by regulatory agencies, Mr. Henderson has represented physicians before the Office of Professional Medical Conduct.

Mr. Henderson has been the recipient of numerous accolades for his work. Hailed as an “extraordinary lawyer” by the former Administrative Judge of Nassau County, he takes great pride in preparation and presentation of a case for his clients. 

Don is a proud father of six children. Outside the firm, he has served as a special adviser to the president of two non-profit organizations dedicated to global relief. He presently is general counsel and a member of the Board of Directors of NYPD With Arms Wide Open, a non-profit which provides assistance to N.Y.P.D. families with special needs children.

He is currently admitted to practice law in New York and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, where his work with the Insurance, Negligence and Compensation Law Committee includes conferring with the Committee of the Medical Society of the State of New York. He is also a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association. He has a Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law, where he served on the Law Review and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hofstra University.
