Michael Venditto

Michael Venditto is an attorney admitted to practice in the State of New York.  He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Hofstra University in 2003 and he graduated from St. John’s University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 2006.   

After working as a Deputy Town Attorney and Counsel to the Town Board for the Town of Hempstead, Michael was elected to the Nassau County Legislature in 2012 and to the New York State Senate in 2014.  He was the youngest member to serve on both legislative bodies.

Michael’s legal experience spans a wide array of practice areas.  He has prosecuted criminal matters and he has litigated in the civil fields of personal injury, contract dispute, land use, and matrimonial law, among others. 

Community service and civic involvement are of utmost importance to Michael and his family.  He resides in Massapequa, New York with his wife Antonella and their two children, and he is an active member of several public organizations.  In 2014 he became a founding member of the Seaford Kiwanis Club and in 2019 he was appointed First Vice President of the Massapequa Lions Club. He is also the Vice President of the Old Harbour Green Civic Association in Massapequa.

For his work as an elected official and as an insurance broker, Michael received the Professional Insurance Association Award for community service.  He also had the honor of being named Person of the Year by Long Island Adopt-a-Battalion, Inc. for his efforts to support military families and veterans.  Michael is a member of the Sons of Italy, Columbus Lodge, and he belongs to the Knights of Pythias, as well as the Sons of American Veterans, Post 88
